Yes everyone, we’ve finally found a home for DJANGOLOGISTS, on the wonderful ENJA label... We’re happy of our collaboration with this great Jazz label, where Chet Baker, Lee Konitz, and countless greats have signed wonderful records since almost 40 years. Enja will distribute DJANGOLOGISTS worldwide, except for Japan, where it will be released as an exclusive edition, 24-tune CD + DVD on PLANKTON records... Both release dates sometime this summer.
Meanwhile you can still download it direct with all 24 tunes + 1hour video documentary from our direct music store for 8 euros only... Or the 18 track version from Itunes, Amazon, etc.

After one marathon week in recording inferno, here we are with a truckload of smashing tracks, now it’s time for mixing and finalization... Shall we say it ? Well, YES ! We have the great honor and privilege to announce that our guest on this album is no other than the one and only BIRELI LAGRENE ! Expect some scary guitarwork from Stochelo and Biréli, driving rhythm from Nonnie and Nous’che, and some amazing amplified tunes with our Pêche à La Mouche Amps... Is that it ? No, more surprises before release time, stay tuned !

• October 14, 2009 : PARTNERSHIP WITH PECHE A LA MOUCHE AMPLIFIERS !
We’re excited to announce this new aspect in the Trio’s music : AMPLIFICATION ! Stochelo and Nous’che will soon unpack their handmade tube amps from Switzerland, whose tone unmistakably takes you back to Django’s amplified years... Could this be Clue N°2 on our upcoming album ? We’ll post more about it soon, but you can still check these little wonders here : PECHE A LA MOUCHE.

• October 4, 2009 : NEW ALBUM ON THE WAY !
Finally, this is it ! The Rosenberg Trio & team have started working on a brand-new album and selecting new tunes, putting up arrangements and making plans for what should be a surprising release... Actually many little things about this particular project make it very special.... We’ll be updating you with news and clues in weeks to come, so be sure to come back and visit us often... Clue N°1 : We’ll have the pleasure of sharing the studio with one of Stochelo’s (and our) favorite guitarists... More soon, uh uh uh !

Fresh back from the "Musiques Métisses" Festival in Angoulême France, we took some time to add a few new clips before we take off to USA, Turkey, Greece and Italy this month.... Lovely countries from which we’ll most definitely bring back some sunny footage too... But in the meantime, you can check the VIDEO SECTION for a very nice and electrifying version of "Les Yeux Noirs", in traditional Rosenberg style :)

• May 10. 2009 : SERESTA- 20th ANNIVERSARY RE-ISSUE !
To celebrate the Trio’s 20th anniversary, we delivered a deluxe re-issue of their famous debut album "Seresta" , all packed with unreleased tracks, a 28-page booklet with the original liner notes, new photos and new design... Get it at our shows !

• March 20, 2009 : Partnership with GALLI STRINGS !
Not one, not two, but THREE : While Nous’che was a long-time user of Galli strings, Stochelo always tried different brands and combinations, changing his setup countless times, and often using what strings he could buy where he was at the moment. When Gallistrings proposed to support the entire Rosenberg Trio, there was no doubt Nous’che would go for it, but questions wether Stochelo and Nonnie would consider trying out and settling on what the brand had to offer... It was actully Nonnie who, bringing his bass to his luthier for a pickup change, asked him to put on a fresh set of Galli’s RC300’s... "The luthier was amazed by the sound of the bass, and called me in excitement", Nonnie tells us, "and I must admit that I had never heard my bass with such a crystal clear sound, it was wonderful !" Stochelo immediatly followed in, claiming he wanted to get back to a traditional setup and that the Galli light gauge Gipsy Strings were exactly what his Selmer demanded. • March 12, 2009 : STOCHELO’S GUITAR TUTORIAL DVDs !
Stochelo was in Montreal, Canada, to shoot a series of guitar tutorial DVDs, long-awaited by players around the globe... A Promising project, packed with info on Stochelo’s personal technique & licks, one full volume of which will be exclusively featuring gipsy waltzes ! Check out the MAKING OF THIS DVD here :
